Themes and images that your book contains. The theme of the book is to always be aware of your surroundings and you can't always trust your co-workers. In the story, when Danforth goes against his group by attracting the creature so that he could get away changed everyone's perception on what kind of person he is. What are some of the images that are used? One image from the book that Hans and I could both picture in our heads was the scene where the whole team walks down the small cave that was inside the glacier. We could picture and almost feel what the characters were feeling because of the description the author made. What do they seem to represent? The scene represented the final destination the team made to try and capture or at least see the creature before they need to leave and end the trip for good. Why do you think the author uses these images to convey his or her meaning? He uses this because he wants the reader to be able to get into the book and see what the characters were actually seeing and feeling. This definitely made the book a lot more enjoyable and easier to read because you are able to paint a picture in your head to help clarify what a particular scene might actually look like.

Summary :
During the final meeting, many things were done and talked about. It began with me bringing in Dunkin Donuts for the group as our snack. We ate those for a while, then Eric brought out his questions and we discussed and answered many of them. The theme was then discussed about the book. Overall, we thought the book was good and very different, more in the science fiction genre. The wording and terminology used in the book could be confusing at times however. The crew ended their journey with finding out what the creatures were. The meeting itself was fine.
